Type of Site/What we Liked
Huge grass area which serves as a carpark for the lovely Twin Beaches as well as a motorhome parking point; although a public car park, it’s not that busy.
We loved the wonderful views over to Islay and Jura and regular ferry traffic and fishing boats in view – climb up the nearest hill just across the road from the entrance to take in 360 vistas over the North of the Island, over to Kintyre; also a great spot to observe sunsets
Nearby Shop: no – it is a good hour’s hike to get to the wondeful village shop at Ardminish, so stock up on your way past.
Nearby Hotel: The Boathouse Restaurant is near to the shop.
